Preparing Your Death File
Beyond the Legal Papers and Advanced Death Care Directive
This workshop's goal: to make it fun and easier on you and your family for your wishes to be known.
Together we will go through what to include in your Death File regarding your wishes for your after-death care of your body, your funeral, and final disposition. After personal reflection around guided prompts and class discussions, you’ll have private time to complete sections of the workbook. Some portions will need to be completed outside of class time.
This mini-workshop makes a heavy topic fun and light. This is a great workshop to do with a best friend or partner!

Writing for Grief & Loss
This workshop's goal: to help you discover your creativity in the dark and to light your path towards healing through written words.
Guided writing prompts will be provided to shift emotions, beliefs, and perceptions of death and loss along with additional activities including meditations and visualizations to help process the loss and grief.
This is a great mini-workshop for yourself or for those who would like to learn tools and practices to guide other family and friends through.
Please bring a personal journal with you to write your work and thoughts in. If you’ve experienced a recent death or, are still dealing with feelings from a loss decades ago, you are welcome to attend. This mini-workshop is not a counseling or therapy session.
