Join a small group as we venture into nature for an immersive, experiential experience. Engage the senses, quiet the mind, create a deeper connection to nature, and drop in to being with nature and people in a healthy way. Families are welcome for the Forest Bathing Walks.
Join a small group for an experience learning about, and walking labyrinths - ancient paths rich with symbolism and spiritual significance. The labyrinth walk is a contemplative meditation practice and a tool for transformation, personal growth and self-reflection.
Join a small group for an experience in Scotland exploring ancient sites and sacred landscapes. The journeys incorporate history, mythology, archeology, geology, spirituality, and more. Short sacred walks are part of the experience.
On these walks, we will meet to walk a local trail in Eastern North Carolina together near the Crystal Coast. The trail may be through the woods, on the beach, an urban greenway, or across boardwalks through wetlands. Along the way Amanda will point out special features and guide you into connecting to your senses and expanding your awareness. You'll learn how to read messages from nature and how other cultures view and perceive different elements within the natural world. You'll learn tools and practices for connecting to the spirit of a place, to yourself, and ways to deepen your connection to the natural world.
Each month the walk will be at a different place. The pace will be slow. The experience is meant to be relaxing, allowing you to unwind and drop into stillness and a quiet place within...stepping out of the mental noise from the week/day.
This is not a naturalist walk where you'll learn species of flora and fauna. This is also not a strenuous physical exercise you can check off for the day. This is a contemplative walk to connect inward and engage your senses.
On average expect 2-3 miles to be covered in two hours. Along our stroll, you'll receive prompts for contemplation, reflection, and guidance in how to awaken your senses and expand your observation skills.
Bring water, sunscreen, wear layers and appropriate shoes for the terrain.
Due to parking constraints at some locations and to not overcrowd the trails, registration is required as space is limited. Registration can be through the contact form, email, or direct message on Instagram or Facebook. This way, if the event needs to be cancelled due to inclement weather especially in Hurricane Season, you can be notified.
Also if you love walking in nature consider purchasing the Nature Trails: A Guided Workbook and Journal for Sacred Walking Amanda published in 2024.
Specific Trail Locations TBD week before walk. Check FB or IG for details.

The labyrinth is a wonderful sacred container for personal and planetary transformation. Through sacred walks, participants are guided and held in support along their walking journey. You'll hear about the history of labyrinths and their use around the world and then you'll be guided to walk the labyrinth with others. Each Labyrinth walk may have a central theme which will be posted beside the date. Occasionally some labyrinth walks will follow with a creative outlet of expression as many have found doing art after the walk helps to reveal more.
Walking the Labyrinth is a journey to your center.
The monthly event is free. Registration is requested in order to keep the group small as most labyrinth spaces can only accommodate so many at once. Also, in the event weather causes a reschedule of the walk or I need to reschedule for family situations you can be notified.
Register through the contact form, or send a direct message through Instagram or Facebook.
Many of the walks are held at local churches. A donation to the respective church towards the upkeep of the labyrinth would be appreciated.
Check the events page on Facebook for the latest special labyrinth walks scheduled. Also if you love labyrinths consider purchasing the Labyrinth Paths: A Guided Workbook and Journal for Sacred Walking Amanda published in 2024.

Once a year I lead a pilgrimage to Scotland. If you are interested in connecting to, and visiting Ancient Sites and Sacred Landscapes this journey may be for you! We have three unique Special Edition tour itineraries to different areas of Scotland through Traveling Soul Tours. They specializes in tours to Scotland, Ireland, and England.
In 2024, the 7-day trip will include the Holy Island/Lindisfarne, Roslyn Chapel, Melrose Abbey, and many other sites in the "borders" of Southern Scotland and Northern England. The theme of this tour is Healing.
Sometimes just being in these places can provide us clarity, insights, and direction. The pilgrimages are educational, deeply spiritual, and opportunities to gather with others.
(Small groups, no more than 5 plus the local guide/driver and myself.)
Looking ahead -2025 will be a 9 day tour visiting Kilmartin Glen, Iona Abbey, Loch Lomond, Callanish Standing Stones, and more! You'll journey to five different islands: Mull, Iona, Skye, Lewis & Harris! The theme of this pilgrimage is expansion.
